The Aldrin Library has reopened after a year-long renovation, adding a 24-hour study commons, 300 additional study seats and an AI research help desk staffed by librarians trained in AI-assisted literature search.

The help desk assists students with systematic reviews, citation management and evaluating AI-generated summaries against original sources. "AI tools are part of research now," says head librarian Priya Nair. "Our job is teaching students to use them critically."

The building also gained a nap room, a family study room, and a rooftop reading garden that opens in spring.
